üì¢ Experience Required: 4‚Äì7 Years (Minimum 3 Years in UAE Landscape Construction & FM)
About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled, design-aware, and commercially minded Landscape Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the end-to-end execution, installation, and ongoing maintenance of softscape (irrigation, plants, lawns, trees) and hardscape (paving, stone structures, water features, pergolas, lighting) projects across commercial, residential, and facility management sites in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
üåø Softscape, Hardscape & Irrigation Execution
• Supervise on-site execution of softscape installations, soil preparation, planting, turf laying, and tree placement according to approved drawings
• Oversee hardscape works including interlock paving, stone masonry, timber structures, pergolas, water features, and outdoor lighting
• Design, install, and maintain automatic irrigation networks (drip, sprinkler, solenoids, pumps, and central controllers)
• Inspect site materials, plants, and equipment upon arrival to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
üìê Site Management & Technical Coordination
• Review land surveys, architectural landscape drawings, MEP layouts, and BOQs to identify discrepancies or scope gaps
• Coordinate daily site activities, labor crews, subcontractors, and heavy machinery to ensure execution matches project schedules
• Liaise with clients, landscape architects, consultants, and municipal authorities for inspections and approvals
• Prepare As-Built drawings, progress reports, variations, and valuation certificates for ongoing landscape projects
üíß Facility Maintenance & Plant Healthcare
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for established landscapes across commercial and residential developments
• Implement plant protection programs including pest control, disease management, fertilization, pruning, and soil conditioning
• Monitor water efficiency, irrigation schedules, and system leaks to optimize resource consumption
• Manage landscape emergency repairs, storm damage recovery, and plant replacements promptly
üìä Estimation, Procurement & Cost Control
• Perform quantity take-offs for landscape materials, plants, turf, soil amendments, and irrigation components • Source local and imported nursery plants, hardscape materials, and specialized outdoor equipment
• Monitor project expenditures against allocated budgets to minimize waste and ensure cost efficiency
Must-Have Qualifications
✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Engineering, Horticulture, Civil Engineering, or Landscape Architecture
✅ 4–7 years of professional experience as a Landscape Engineer in the UAE
‚úÖ Proven track record in executing both softscape and hardscape projects in construction or facility management
‚úÖ Deep technical knowledge of Gulf region flora, soil conditions, turf management, and UAE climate constraints
‚úÖ Thorough expertise in modern irrigation systems, hydraulic calculations, and automated controllers
‚úÖ Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office applications
‚úÖ Valid UAE Driving License (Required)
‚úÖ Strong site leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
⭐ Experience dealing with Dubai Municipality, Sharjah Municipality, or local master developers (Emaar, Nakheel, Dubai Holding)
⭐ Knowledge of sustainable landscaping, xeriscaping, and TSE (Treated Sewage Effluent) irrigation systems
⭐ Immediate availability (Notice period: Immediate to maximum 1–2 weeks)
