Role Description The Director role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Rabat Prefecture. The Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership to the faculty, including setting academic priorities, overseeing program development, and ensuring alignment with the mission and standards of Université Mohammed V. Daily responsibilities include supervising academic and administrative teams, managing budgets and resources, coordinating teaching and research activities, and fostering collaboration across departments. The Director will represent the faculty in internal and external forums, promote partnerships with national and international institutions, and support initiatives that enhance student success and research impact. The role also includes maintaining regulatory and accreditation compliance, implementing quality assurance processes, and encouraging an inclusive and respectful academic culture.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership and management abilities in an academic or research institution, including experience overseeing teams and resources.
- Strong background in law, economics, or social sciences, with an advanced academic degree (PhD or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience in academic program development, quality assurance, and curriculum governance.
- Proven capacity to support research activities, foster scholarly collaboration, and promote publication and dissemination of research outputs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners.
- Experience with strategic planning, budgeting, and administrative processes within higher education.
- Commitment to ethical leadership, equity, inclusion, and the promotion of a supportive learning and working environment.
- Ability to work fluently in French and/or Arabic; proficiency in English is an asset for international collaboration.
- Familiarity with national higher education regulations and accreditation standards in Morocco or similar contexts.
