MVA International is supporting an established investment organisation in the UAE with the appointment of an Investment Associate / Senior Associate to join its investment team in Abu Dhabi.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious investment professional looking to develop their career on the buy side, gaining direct exposure to the evaluation, structuring and execution of investments.
We are interested in candidates with approximately 3–5 years relevant experience from backgrounds including:
• Investment Banking – M&A, Sponsors or relevant sector coverage
• Private Equity / Principal Investments
• Institutional Investment
• Big Four Deals / Transaction Services / Corporate Finance, with strong transaction exposure
You should be able to demonstrate:
• Strong transaction execution experience
• Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills
• Financial and commercial due diligence experience
• Ability to analyse businesses and investment opportunities
• Understanding of transaction structures and investment returns
• Experience preparing investment analysis and recommendations
• Strong commercial judgement and communication skills
This could be particularly attractive to someone currently within investment banking or transaction advisory who wants to transition to the buy side and become directly involved in investment decisions rather than purely advising on them.
