Role Description
The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, space plans, and mood boards that reflect client requirements and the studio’s design standards. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients, preparing sketches and 3D Renderings, coordinating FF&E selections, and producing clear construction drawings in collaboration with architects and contractors. The role also involves using VR tools and visualizations to present and refine design options, ensuring a cohesive experience from concept to execution. The Interior Designer will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage project timelines, maintain quality, and support smooth implementation on site.
Qualifications
- 7+ Years of Experience in Residential and/or Commercial Interior Design Projects
- Strong Interior Design skills, including concept development, material selection, and visual storytelling.
- Advanced Proficiency in Autodesk 3ds Max and Corona Renderer
- Knowledge of Architecture fundamentals and ability to collaborate effectively with architects and engineers.
- Experience preparing accurate Construction Drawings and documentation suitable for contractors and suppliers.
- Capability in FF&E selection and specification, including furnishings, fixtures, and equipment coordination.
- Strong communication and client presentation skills, with the ability to explain design decisions clearly.
- Attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
