Role Description The HR Team Leader is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR operations, including managing HR processes, guiding HR personnel, and ensuring consistent application of company policies and procedures. The HR Team Leader will handle employee relations matters, support workforce planning, and coordinate recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and documentation activities. The role includes monitoring compliance with local labor regulations, resolving HR-related issues, and partnering with management to improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. The HR Team Leader will also prepare HR reports, recommend process improvements, and support training and development initiatives for the HR team and broader staff.
Qualifications
- Strong HR Management and Human Resources (HR) skills, including overseeing HR operations and supporting strategic HR initiatives.
- Experience in Employee Relations, with the ability to handle conflict resolution, employee concerns, and engagement activities.
- Knowledge of HR Policies and Personnel Management, including policy implementation, compliance, and maintaining accurate employee records.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor HR teams, delegate tasks, and manage workflows in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with local labor laws and regulations in Qatar or GCC countries, or willingness to learn and apply them quickly.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and confidentiality in handling HR information.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR information systems; experience with recruitment or overseas placement processes is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; professional HR certification is a plus.
