Elite Hospitality is looking for an experienced Head of Catering & Events to establish and lead its catering division in Saudi Arabia.
The role will be responsible for developing corporate and private catering business, managing events from enquiry to execution, and utilizing the existing kitchens, teams, equipment, and restaurant brands within the Elite Hospitality portfolio.
The candidate must have strong experience in the Saudi catering and events market and must currently be based in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
• Establish and develop Elite Hospitality’s catering and events division.
• Generate new catering business from corporate clients, government entities, event agencies, private clients, luxury brands, weddings, and major events.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and a pipeline of catering opportunities.
• Prepare catering proposals, quotations, menus, and event packages.
• Manage events from initial enquiry, site visit, and planning through production, setup, service, and post-event follow-up.
• Coordinate with restaurant Operations, Chefs, Procurement, Finance, HR, and Marketing.
• Maximize the use of existing Elite Hospitality kitchens, employees, equipment, and resources.
• Monitor event costs, food cost, staffing, logistics, and profitability.
• Ensure all events meet Elite Hospitality’s standards for food quality, presentation, service, and guest experience.
Skills
• Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in catering, events, hospitality, or food and beverage.
• Strong catering and events experience in Saudi Arabia is mandatory.
• Candidate must currently be based in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong network within the Saudi corporate, events, government, or hospitality market is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in catering sales and business development.
• Strong operational knowledge of event planning, food production, staffing, logistics, and service.
• Commercial mindset with strong understanding of costing and profitability.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and client management skills.
• Fluent English is required. Arabic is an advantage.
