We are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative Head Chef to lead our culinary team at COYA Doha, delivering exceptional dining experiences while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, innovation and operational excellence..
Experience you will need:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior culinary leadership role within a luxury restaurant or internationally recognised hospitality brand.
- Proven experience managing high-volume, premium kitchen operations while consistently delivering exceptional food quality, presentation and consistency.
- Strong culinary expertise, creativity and a passion for delivering outstanding dining experiences. Experience with Peruvian or Latin American cuisine would be an advantage.
- Excellent commercial awareness, with hands-on experience managing food costs, budgets, inventory, wastage and kitchen profitability.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, develop and motivate a high-performing kitchen brigade.
- Experience overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including recruitment, workforce planning, training, performance management and labour cost control.
- Ability to work closely with front-of-house and management teams to ensure seamless operations and an exceptional guest experience.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, HACCP procedures and dietary requirements.
- A hands-on, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to remain calm and deliver consistently high standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
