General Practitioner (GP) – Outpatient Medical Clinic
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Diagnosis & Management: Provide holistic clinical care to diverse patient populations, diagnosing and treating acute illnesses, injuries, and common medical conditions.
- Chronic Disease Management: Monitor and manage long-term medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and cardiovascular risk factors.
- Preventive Care & Health Promotion: Perform routine health checks, immunizations, lifestyle counseling, and wellness screenings.
- Referrals & Care Coordination: Refer patients to specialized medical consultants, diagnostic imaging, and laboratory services when required, providing detailed clinical handovers.
- Clinical Records: Maintain accurate, timely, and complete electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with clinical governance standards.
- Patient Communication: Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative health practices clearly and empathetically to patients and their families.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: MOFA attested Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS / MBChB) or equivalent medical degree from a recognized university.
- Licensing: DHA registration certificate (eligible to practice in Dubai, UAE).
- Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of post-internship clinical experience in General Practice or Primary Healthcare settings preferred.
Skills
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills across adult and pediatric general care.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication capabilities.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) management systems.
