Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Finance position based in Amman. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements and reports to support accurate decision-making and compliance with internal and external standards. Responsibilities include managing accounting entries, monitoring budgets and expenses, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities. The team member will collaborate with other departments, provide clear financial insights, and respond to queries related to financial performance and resource allocation. The role also requires maintaining organized financial records, supporting audits, and contributing to the improvement of financial processes and controls.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Finance and Accounting skills to manage daily financial operations and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Candidates should possess skills in working with Financial Statements, including preparation, review, and reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present financial information clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (bachelor’s degree or equivalent) is preferred.
- Proficiency in common accounting software and Excel, including basic financial modeling and reporting tools, is beneficial.
- Knowledge of local financial regulations and standards applicable in Amman is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work within deadlines in a structured environment are important.
