Role Description The FF&E Design Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, responsible for managing furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) projects from concept through installation. This role oversees client accounts, coordinates design proposals, prepares and reviews FF&E specifications, and ensures that selected products align with project budgets, timelines, and design standards. The FF&E Design Account Manager collaborates closely with designers, vendors, and contractors, manages orders and logistics, and tracks project progress to secure timely delivery and installation. Daily activities include client meetings, presentation of design options, preparation of documentation and reports, and resolution of any issues related to quality, delivery, or after-sales service. The role also contributes to continuous improvement of design processes and client experience by providing feedback and market insights.
Qualifications
- * Experience in FF&E design and project coordination, including furniture selection, specification, and scheduling.
- Strong account management skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in design-related tools and software (e.g., CAD, design visualization platforms, project management tools) is highly beneficial.
- Solid understanding of materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes, with awareness of sustainability and quality standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external partners.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in furniture or interior design industry, particularly in FF&E or client-facing design roles, is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt, and manage visits to client locations, showrooms, and vendor facilities as needed.
