A leading garment manufacturing company in Alexandria is looking for an experienced Fashion Designer to join our team.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Fashion Designer in a garment/clothing factory is required.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, textiles, and garment materials.
- Good understanding of garment construction and production processes.
- Ability to develop and modify designs based on production and business requirements.
- Good understanding of colors, fabrics, patterns, and fashion trends.
- Ability to work closely with Production, Sampling, and other relevant teams.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify garment designs according to business requirements.
- Select and recommend suitable fabrics and materials for designs.
- Prepare design concepts, sketches, and specifications.
- Work closely with production and sampling teams to ensure designs are practical and production-ready.
- Review samples and make necessary design modifications.
- Stay updated with fashion trends, fabrics, and market developments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Previous experience in garment manufacturing is highly preferred.
- A portfolio of previous work is an advantage.
