Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Beni Suef. The Civil Engineer will participate in planning, designing, and supervising construction projects, including infrastructure, roads, utilities, and site development. Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing drawings and technical specifications, coordinating with site supervisors and contractors, and monitoring project progress to ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality standards. The role involves conducting site inspections, resolving technical issues, and supporting stormwater management and drainage design as needed. The Civil Engineer will also assist with project documentation, quantity estimations, and communication with project managers and clients.
Qualifications
* Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles to infrastructure and building projects.
* Experience working in teams of Civil Engineers and collaborating with site and project staff.
* Planning skills, including project scheduling, resource coordination, and task prioritization.
* Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage systems, and relevant local codes and standards.
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
* Proficiency in engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar) and MS Office tools.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting abilities.
* Attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
* Ability to work on-site in Beni Suef and communicate effectively with diverse project stakeholders.
* Previous experience in construction or contracting projects in Egypt is an advantage.
