AFFI Foods is looking for an experienced, hands-on Chief Accountant to lead daily accounting operations, strengthen financial controls and deliver accurate reporting to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the full accounting cycle, month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Prepare cash-flow forecasts and monitor receivables, payables and payment requirements.
• Review product costing, bills of materials, packaging costs and manufacturing variances.
• Control inventory accounting and reconcile physical stock counts.
• Prepare budgets, analyze variances and assess product profitability.
• Coordinate tax filings, electronic invoicing and external audits.
• Improve accounting procedures, ERP data accuracy and internal controls.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• At least 7 years of accounting experience, including 3 years in manufacturing.
• Proven responsibility for monthly closing and financial statement preparation.
• Strong practical knowledge of manufacturing costing and inventory accounting.
• Experience with Egyptian tax requirements and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
• Food manufacturing or FMCG experience is an advantage.
