Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive, high-energy Business Development Executive who is eager to learn, adaptable, detail-oriented, and confident interacting with clients and businesses. If you are a strong multitasker, enjoy building relationships, are curious about how businesses grow, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is a great fit.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is primarily focused on supporting business development by researching potential clients, building relationships, preparing financial proposals and presentations, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and representing the company throughout the business development process. While the primary focus is driving new business opportunities, you will occasionally support account management activities when required to ensure business continuity
Responsibilities & Duties
- Research potential clients, support outreach efforts, and contribute to building new business opportunities and client relationships.
- Prepare financial proposals, rate cards, presentations, and other client-facing materials to support business development and client acquisition.
- Coordinate & negotiate with external partners and service providers including media production partners, website development agencies, influencers, PR partners, and other stakeholders as required - to obtain quotations, define project scopes, and develop accurate financial proposals.
- Prepare and submit proposals through client procurement portals, ensuring compliance with submission requirements and meeting all deadlines.
- Lead creative pitches, coordinate and review technical proposals, and manage cross-functional teams throughout the proposal process.
- Represent the company professionally in client meetings, presentations, and business discussions, including attending in-person meetings when required.
- Schedule and attend client meetings, prepare meeting agendas, document meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Travel as required to attend client meetings, business development activities, industry events, or other company-related engagements.
- Coordinate with internal teams (digital marketing, creative, content, and production) to support client requests and ensure smooth project execution.
- Support the client contracting process by reviewing contracts, coordinating with the internal team and legal partner, ensuring the contractual terms, scope, and commercial details align with the approved financial proposal, identifying and resolving any mismatches, and supporting contract negotiations with the client's legal and procurement teams prior to signature.
- Assist with project planning by preparing budget estimates, tracking timelines, and following up on project deliverables.
- Provide account management support when required, acting as the primary point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day communication, and building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.
- Manage company vendor registration processes, ensuring all required documents, certifications, and company information are accurate, complete, and kept up to date.
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation, including client databases, vendor records, proposals, and project files.
