Role Description The Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh. The consultant will analyze clients’ financial positions, assess liquidity and debt structures, and prepare reports and recommendations on restructuring options. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting financial and operational due diligence, supporting the development of restructuring plans, and assisting in negotiations with creditors and stakeholders. The role involves drafting proposals, presentations, and documentation for court-related and out-of-court restructuring processes, while coordinating closely with internal teams and external advisors. The consultant will also monitor implementation of restructuring plans, track performance against key milestones, and contribute to business development initiatives within the advisory practice.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including cash flow analysis, debt capacity assessment, and scenario planning.
- Knowledge of bankruptcy frameworks, insolvency laws, and restructuring methodologies, preferably within the GCC region.
- Experience in advisory, corporate finance, or consulting environments, with exposure to distressed businesses or turnaround situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports, presentations, and client-facing documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant financial and data analysis tools.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work with cross-functional teams, lenders, legal counsel, and regulators.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACCA) are an advantage.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills are a plus.
