Automotive Mechanic / Technician
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Automotive Mechanic / Technician to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems, diagnostics, suspension, brakes, and general vehicle maintenance. Experience working on classic and vintage vehicles will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, inspections, and servicing.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
- Carry out suspension repairs, adjustments, and related mechanical work.
- Diagnose and repair engine, brake, steering, and other vehicle systems.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle faults.
- Work on classic and vintage vehicles when required.
- Identify mechanical problems and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed to a high standard.
- Follow workshop safety procedures and maintain safe working practices.
- Keep tools, equipment, and the work area clean and organized.
- Coordinate effectively with the service advisor, management, and other team members.
- Maintain proper care of customer and company vehicles during repair and maintenance.
- Complete assigned jobs within the expected time while maintaining quality standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic / Automotive Technician.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and diagnostics.
- Hands-on experience in suspension, brake, engine, and general mechanical repairs.
- Good understanding of automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Experience with classic/vintage cars is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems independently and provide effective solutions.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workshop.
Preferred:
- UAE/GCC workshop experience.
- Experience with classic and modified vehicles.
- Basic knowledge of electric vehicles or EV conversion is an advantage.
- Fabrication or mechanical modification experience is an added advantage.
Work Time : 9am To 5pm
Week Off : Saturday and Sunday (Fixed Off)
