Role Description The Architecture Site Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, responsible for overseeing daily construction activities and ensuring that work aligns with approved architectural plans and specifications. This role includes coordinating with architects, civil and structural engineers, contractors, and site crews to monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and maintain clear communication among all stakeholders. The Architecture Site Engineer will conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control, compliance with safety standards, and adherence to project timelines and budgets. Responsibilities also include reviewing drawings, preparing site reports, documenting project milestones, and supporting the implementation of design changes as needed. The role requires a proactive presence on site to anticipate challenges, support efficient workflow, and uphold ArchNova’s standards of excellence.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision skills, including experience managing daily construction activities and coordinating site operations.
* Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills to collaborate effectively with architects, civil engineers, structural engineers, contractors, and clients.
* Candidates should possess robust quality control skills, including conducting inspections, verifying materials and workmanship, and ensuring adherence to design and safety standards.
* Candidates should possess structural engineering and civil engineering knowledge to interpret technical drawings, address design-related issues, and support safe, compliant construction.
* Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field, with prior site engineering experience in architectural or construction projects.
* Proficiency in relevant design and construction tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, project management software) and familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced site environment.
* Commitment to safety, ethical conduct, and continuous professional development; experience in residential, commercial, or industrial projects is an advantage.
