Position Overview
Al Yousef Group is looking for an AI Automation Specialist to identify, design, develop, and implement AI-powered automation solutions across the organization. The role will work closely with business and functional teams to understand existing processes, identify opportunities for automation, and develop practical AI solutions that improve efficiency, reduce manual work, strengthen controls, and enhance decision-making. The ideal candidate should be hands-on with AI agents, workflow automation, APIs, system integrations, LLMs, and business process automation, with the ability to convert business requirements into working solutions.
Key Responsibilities
a. Identify and assess business processes that can benefit from AI and automation.
b. Work with business teams to understand processes, pain points, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
c. Design and develop AI agents and automated workflows for business use cases.
d. Build automation using platforms such as n8n, Zapier, Make, Microsoft Power Automate, or similar workflow automation tools.
e. Integrate AI solutions with ERP, HR, CRM, databases, SharePoint, email, APIs, and other enterprise systems.
f. Develop solutions using LLMs and AI APIs, including prompt engineering, structured outputs, tool/function calling, and agent-based workflows.
g. Develop automated processes for activities such as data extraction, reconciliation, reporting, document processing, notifications, approvals, and exception handling.
h. Develop prototypes/POCs and convert successful solutions into reliable production workflows.
i. Work with data from different sources and establish appropriate validation and business rules.
j. Implement appropriate logging, monitoring, error handling, security, and access controls for automation solutions.
k. Document automation workflows, business logic, integrations, and operational procedures.
l. Monitor deployed automations and continuously improve their performance and reliability.
m. Work with IT, cybersecurity, data, and business teams to ensure AI solutions comply with organizational standards.
n. Evaluate emerging AI tools and technologies and recommend those that can provide practical business value.
o. Maintain an inventory of AI automation opportunities, POCs, and deployed solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
a. Experience in AI automation, intelligent automation, workflow automation, or a similar technical role.
b. Strong practical knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and prompt engineering.
c. Hands-on experience with automation platforms such as n8n, Power Automate, Make, Zapier, or
equivalent.
d. Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, authentication, and system integration.
e. Experience working with databases and structured/unstructured data.
f. Programming/scripting experience in Python, JavaScript, or similar.
g. Experience integrating AI models with business applications and enterprise systems.
h. Understanding of RAG, embeddings/vector databases, document processing, and AI-based
information retrieval is an advantage.
i. Good understanding of data security, access control, and responsible use of AI.
j. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Technology, Software Engineering, Data
Science, or a related discipline.
b. Relevant certifications in AI, automation, cloud, or related technologies would be an advantage.
c. Practical project experience may be considered alongside formal qualifications.

Qualifications
a. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data
Science, or a related discipline.
b. Relevant certifications in AI, automation, cloud, or related technologies would be an advantage.
c. Practical project experience may be considered alongside formal qualifications.
Key
Success in the Role
Success in this role will be measured by the ability to move from business opportunity → POC → working
automation → production deployment, with measurable improvements in productivity, turnaround time,
accuracy, control, or cost.
The role is expected to become a key technical resource for the organization's AI Agent and Automation
initiatives.
