I’m partnering with a global technology business specialising in industrial sensing and safety solutions, and are supporting them in the search for a Sensor Sales Specialist to cover Sweden and Denmark.
This is a customer-facing sales role suited to someone who enjoys developing new business, managing established accounts and helping customers find the right technical solution. The Sensor Sales Specialist will work across OEMs, system integrators, distributors and end users, with a focus on applications including mobile equipment, material handling, packaging, pumping, lifting and industrial machinery.
The OpportunityAs a Sensor Sales Specialist, you’ll take ownership of developing your territory, identifying new opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing customers. You’ll combine technical understanding with a commercial approach, working closely with customers to understand their applications and introduce suitable sensing and safety solutions.
The role will involve customer meetings, joint visits with partners, product demonstrations and training, as well as attendance at relevant industry events and exhibitions. There is also scope to work closely with distributors and channel partners to support growth across the region.
What We’re Looking For
- B2B sales experience within industrial automation, sensors, electrical or related technical products
- A technical background, ideally through engineering, automation or equivalent practical experience
- Experience developing OEM relationships and winning new business alongside managing existing accounts
- A consultative approach to sales, with the ability to understand customer applications and translate them into technical solutions
- Commercially driven, self-motivated and comfortable managing a territory independently
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with technical and commercial stakeholders
- Willingness to travel regularly across Sweden and Denmark, with occasional wider Nordic travel
