Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage the company’s daily accounting and financial operations.
- Prepare and file UAE VAT returns and Corporate Tax filings accurately and within required deadlines.
- Handle accounting and taxation services for external company clients, including reviewing documents, maintaining records, preparing accounts, VAT, and Corporate Tax requirements.
- Communicate with accounting and tax clients, collect required documents, identify missing information, and follow up until completion.
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L), income, expense, cash flow, and financial reports.
- Manage payroll, employee salaries, commissions, deductions, and other financial entitlements.
- Monitor company bank accounts, cash transactions, cash flow, and perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), outstanding balances, and payment follow-ups.
- Maintain invoices, accounting records, receipts, supporting documents, and proper financial filing systems.
- Monitor employees’ attendance, punctuality, discipline, productivity, and daily performance.
- Follow up on assigned employee tasks and ensure work is completed accurately and within deadlines.
- Identify and report employee delays, repeated mistakes, negligence, financial discrepancies, and operational weaknesses to management.
- Monitor work quality and customer service standards across the office.
- Coordinate between employees and management and assist in organizing daily workflow and task distribution.
- Ensure company policies, financial controls, and internal procedures are properly followed.
- Provide management with regular financial, operational, collection, and staff performance reports.
- Exercise appropriate administrative and supervisory authority to monitor operations, evaluate employees, and submit recommendations to management.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company accounts, employee information, client records, and financial data.
Desired Candidate Profile1. Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting and/or taxation experience in the UAE.
2. Strong practical experience with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
3. Must be capable of independently preparing and handling VAT returns and Corporate Tax requirements.
4. Experience handling accounts and tax files for multiple companies or clients is strongly preferred.
5. Strong knowledge of P&L, payroll, AP/AR, bank reconciliation, cash flow, invoicing, and financial reporting.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Zoho Books, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar.
7. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field preferred.
8. Strong leadership, administrative, and staff supervision skills.
9. Must have a strong professional personality and be capable of enforcing accountability and workplace discipline.
10. Able to identify mistakes, delays, financial discrepancies, weak controls, and operational problems.
11. Highly organized, accurate, responsible, trustworthy, and confidential.
12. Good English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
13. Must be capable of working independently and reporting directly to management.
14. Must be comfortable communicating professionally with company clients regarding accounting, VAT, Corporate Tax, payments, and required documents.
15. Candidates with strong hands-on UAE accounting and taxation experience will be given priority.
16. Fixed Salary: AED 2,500/month.
17. Commission: 10% on accounting and taxation service revenue handled by the employee.
18. Working hours: 10 hours per day, split into morning and evening shifts.
19. Weekly off: One day.
