The Kingdom University of Health Sciences (KU) is a research-driven, state-of-the-art health sciences university in Jordan. Its inaugural program, the KU School of Medicine, is built for the future of healthcare, combining early clinical exposure, research-driven learning, and advanced technology to prepare students for a dynamic global landscape. The MD program has been co-designed and co-developed in collaboration with UCL Medical School (UCLMS), drawing on international best practices and contextualized to address Jordan's healthcare priorities and regional needs. With expert faculty and a supportive learning environment, KU aims to educate and inspire a new generation of physician-scientists and physician-leaders. KU is co-located with the Kingdom University Hospital (KUH) on a single integrated academic medical campus in Amman. This shared campus model means students train where care is delivered, with early and ongoing clinical exposure built directly into the learning experience rather than added on separately. This integration extends KU's partnerships beyond medical education. Alongside UCLMS's role in co-developing the MD program, UCLA Health serves as a clinical affiliate to the hospital, connecting KU's academic environment to a broader ecosystem of research, patient care, and international clinical expertise.
